In an emergency in India, call 112. FLAR3 is in development and is not yet available.
The appFLAR3 Safety

Help in one press. Proof it reached them.

Try itInteractive demo

Hard to trigger by mistake. Honest about what happened.

Press and hold the button for three seconds. Let go early and nothing happens. Hold on and you'll see the cancel window, then every contact's delivery status — the same flow the app runs.

  • A deliberate 3-second hold, so pockets and children don't send alerts.
  • A short cancel window before anything is sent.
  • Location attached with its accuracy and age.
  • Per-contact status — queued, sent, delivered or failed, with retry.

Demo only. This runs in your browser. No message is sent, no location is read and no call is placed. Names are examples.

In the appFrom day one

Everything you need when it counts.

The first version does a few things very well. SOS, contacts, location and calling have to work every time, so that's where we start.

One-press SOS

A deliberate 3-second hold starts the alert, from the app or your Gear.

Trusted contacts

Pick your people in advance. They confirm they'll receive your alerts.

Live location

Contacts see where you are, with the time and accuracy of the fix.

Call 112

India's emergency number, one tap from the SOS screen.

SMS backup

When data is weak, alerts go by SMS where your phone allows.

Cancel and “I'm OK”

Stop a mistaken alert, or tell everyone you're safe with one tap.

Hindi & English

Every core screen in the language you're most comfortable with.

Practice mode

Rehearse safely and check your contacts really get your alerts.

Step by stepWhat happens when you press SOS

Six steps, including when things break.

You

Activates SOS

Press and hold in the app or on your paired Gear. The cancel window starts.

The app

Starts the alert workflow

Logged locally first, so nothing depends on the network to begin.

The app

Prepares location & profile

Best available fix with timestamp and accuracy; emergency profile attached.

Your contacts

Notifies trusted contacts

Push and SMS where supported — through whatever channel is available right now.

You

Can call 112

One tap to dial emergency services. The user places the call; it is not automatic.

The app

Shows delivery status

Per contact: queued, sent, delivered or failed — never a vague "done".

When things go wrong, FLAR3 has a plan

No internet

Push and live location can't send.

Try SMS where supported; queue push for retry; surface the 112 call option.

No location

No fresh GPS fix, or permission denied.

Send last known location marked with its age, or state clearly that none is available.

No SMS

No signal, OS restriction or provider failure.

Fall back to data channels when possible; offer manual share and calling.

Accidental press

Pocket press, child, false trigger.

Countdown with cancel; if alerts already went out, send an "I'm OK" follow-up.

Delivery failure

A contact's message bounces or stalls.

Show the failure per contact, retry, and prompt the user to call directly.

Contacts and emergency services are not reached automatically in every situation. Delivery depends on permissions, battery, coverage and third-party services — the app's job is to try every available route and report the outcome truthfully.

Coming nextSmart Safety
